    Default Yankee Candle's Midsummer's Night

I don't know WHY I never thought to ask this question here!!!

OK...in high school I had a really good friend named Josh. I noted that he always smelled good, but I never really associated it w/ him wearing a scent. I just thought he simply smelled good. We lost touch, & then a couple years later I was sniffing some different Yankee candles, & when I smelled their Midsummer's Night candle I was almost overwhelmed w/ how much it smelled like Josh!!!

For those of you that have smelled this candle...does it remind you of a certain cologne?

Zino by Davidoff. Patchouli and a strong floral element, I can't remember which specific flowers.
    I smell marshmallows!
Currently wearing: Tiffany for Men by Tiffany

That candle really smells like a classic fougere men's cologne, I agree.

    Yep, that's the one.

I don't like that candle or that fragrance. ;D

The only Yankee candle I'm fond of is coconut bay.

Thank you all for your replies! You're probably right about Drakkar Noir. Josh & I hung out around 1996-1997 & that frag was pretty popular among high school kids back then .

Bumping this one because I just got a 22oz jar of Midsummer's Night, and it definitely does smell like Drakkar Noir.

Ahh, I love dihydromyrcenol so much. Lol

    Absolutely, +1

This and for a slightly greener fragrance that’s similar, consider Duc de Vervins by Houbigant.
