Using Voleur de Roses as an example. What do you think are the most daring fragrances available?

Habit Rouge...some people think it's dated, stodgy and old fogey. I think it puts a lot of new orientals to shame! Me Like!

    I'm sorry, I totally forgot about Kouros...still a love-hate relationship for me.

I wear 53 and 71 a lot. I can't even say I find 53 _that_ out there. It smells good and not a lot. 71 is a bit twisted, but is still full of low key flowery notes I love. And that xerox copy machine note is really standing out on me (and outstanding).

If that's the case, A*Men definitely fits the bill.

Also, Burberry Brit. There's not another scent out there like it, & who would've thought that powder & vanilla in a guy's fragrance could be sexy??

    Hi all,

I see many good listings here but...(and I hate to sound like a broken record) but...SANTA MARIA NOVELLA "ACQUA DI CUBA" without a doubt!
Also...got to agree with DIPTYQUE L'AUTRE, SMN NOSTALGIA and L'ARTISAN DZING. ALL EXCELLENT!

Leaving aside the unisex/slightly feminine niche scents - which I'd never wear - I'd say Le Male is the most daring of the generally accepted commercial masculine scents.
It goes way beyond the path that Joop originally trail blazed - and I still feel odd when I wear it.

The other possibilities are the male rose scent of Ungaro 111, and Givenchy's Insense, which I just don't get, and would never wear.

I also first thought of Bandit but isn't it (originally) a feminine fragrance?

One that hasn't been mentioned yet is DKNY Be Delicious. I also think Piper Nigrum would fit the list well.

Make it two votes for SDph; incredible smoke forest scent.

Let's see, *daring , *taking VdR as an example. *Hm . . . tempted to say *Creed's Tuberose Indiana but though it's billed as a woman's frag, *rosewater *has such a long tradition in men's colognes from France to the Old West that it may be muted, esp in comparison to today's hundreds of popular unisex frags that are, oh let's say somewhat feminine--so unless you douse yourself in L'Air du Temps, *"daring" may be the other extreme:

Jacomo de Jacomo , *Francesco Smalto, *Joseph Abdoud, *Jean Marc Sinan's V.O., *Pascal Morabito's OR Black, *Dunhill '34, *Paloma Picasso's Minotaure . . .

Hahah. Good topic. I'd choose Kingdom EDP and most of the CdG frags.
