    Default Creed no longer produced?

Someone on another forum told me that Creed was no longer being produced and all the stuff I'm finding out on the web and eBay is old stock. Is there any truth to this? He said Creed was being replaced by "Bond No.9". I have no idea though.....

That doesn't make sense, unless you're saying that the American manufacturing and distribution for Creeds will be done by Bond No. 9

I think some former distributors / sellers of Creed are now carrying Bond No. 9, but I've never heard of Creed being "discontinued" or no longer being available anywhere. I think they are cutting back to try and shrink the gray market.

I just think that creedfragrances (US) will be selling Bond No. 9 instead from what I read on the ad. Isn't that the banner that's been appearing on the top of this forum time and again?

The US distributor of Creed decided to discontinue distribution of the Creed line so that she could launch Bond 9. There was a lot of publicity surrounding this a couple of years ago when the news was made public. Creed has announced that they found a new US distributor, though, and so we should see the continuation of products being sold at major dept stores like Saks and Bergdorf.

The Creed sales that you see advertised here on Basenotes is leftover stock from the previous distributor...leftover, though not necessarily old.

    hope this clarifies,
