That's a tough one! Why not just buy decants of all four? One is earthy and a little sweet, one is spicey and slightly herbal, one is firey and rich, and one is rather incensey....

the first thing that had come to mind, though, was D'Orsay Le Dandy...

...maybe I shouldn't have said that?

Demeter Whiskey&Tobacco is a decent approximation of Le Dandy ...

While I love Demeter's creativity, I find the scents never last on my skin, and change from their original concepts into something slightly synthetic...I've tried so many and wanted to love quite a few (dragonfly, pumpkin pie, seaweed...) but they just don't work for me...

Along the lines of Le Dandy, I would recommend Claiborne Spark, Geparlys Darkness, and Cumming...but really, nothing compares to Le Dandy...

But, if you are gonna order from 4 seasons, let me recommend the following as samples:

Keiko Mecheri Fleur de Peau (musk and civet)
Keiko Mecheri Paname (vetiver and vanilla)
    Fragonard Suivez-Moi (lavender and vanilla)
    Diptyque Opone (rose and saffron)

Of those in your poll, I vastly prefer CdG Sequoia. It is spicy, woodsy, fiery, and long-lasting. Gucci PH and Rush may be the closest to it, and they're not that close.

I definitely also agree with trying Le Dandy, and in addition to Gucci PH and Rush, other scents that are somewhat formal and that I prefer for fall include:

    Rocabar/Hermes
    Le 3me Homme/Caron
    L'Anarchiste/Caron
    Habit Rouge/Guerlain
    Nicole Miller for Men/Nicole Miller
    Escada Pour Homme/Escada Beaute

4th or 5th vote for Le Dandy D'Orsay!

Also Eau Noire Christian Dior is wonderful too. This one is one I will wear more often in the colder months ahead. But it's still awesome to wear now. It really blooms in warmer weather very beautifully.

I did vote for CdG Zagorsk off your list since it's my favorite of the bunch you have listed.
