    Default Montana Parfum d'Homme

Hello!! Montana Parfum d'Homme (red box). Can anyone tell me about this frargance? I have read that it is similar to Aramis 'Havana' (which is no longer available) and similar to Czech & Speake's 'Cuba'. I'm considering ordering a bottle (of one or the other) and I would like to get a few opinions before I do.

    Thanks...

Yes, it was a bit like Havana but edgier: more floral in the heart and spicier basenotes.

    A great cologne lost forever...

I think of the three mentioned, I'd go with Cuba if you have the extra $$. I recall smelling Montana and it was similar to Havana, but Cuba lasts longer on me and is more "tobacco"ish than Havana.

I sniffed a decant of Havana this morning but decided not to wear it today, but I immediately thought of the old Montana. I used to like it, but I don't think I'm into these type of scents anymore.

Seasons change, tastes change. Lately, it seems, I can't to get enough spice. Spice. spice, spice. But not 'Old Spice', mind you!! I purchased a bottle of Caron 'Le 3rd Man'...pretty spicy. I already have 'Jacomo de Jacomo', Romeo Gigli, 'Envy', 'Habit Rouge', Versace 'Homme', 'Havana' (and 'Reserva'). Just received my Montana 'Parfum d' Homme'. Yep....it Spicy!! It's close enough to 'Havana' that I can wear them side by side. Man! This Montana Pd'H sure does smell good!!! [smiley=cool.gif] Maybe this is what I'm looking for! Wish I had gotten into it sooner when there was plenty to go around.

Great indeed. And the current version has nothing to do with the original.By the way,Parfum D' Homme was tha most cheap fragrance I had ever bought at retail some years ago: the equivalent of 2 USD for a 30 ml bottle.I keep sniffing ny empty bottle!
It's never too late to mend.
