Creed Imperial Millesime. I got a good bottle! Probably the 3rd time I've owned it, and this is the most I've ever enjoyed it. May be picking up a new Volvo today, Lord willing! I thought Creed would be good for a new car day!
Current faves: Aventus, Green Irish Tweed, MFK Masculin Pluriel, Dior Homme Eau, TDH Parfum
My SOTD is Vetiver Oriental from Serge Lutens, tried for the first time from a sample vial. The 14th selection of my 27-sample vetiver sampler collection. I've been looking forward to trying this based on all the discussion on this board, and I am not disappointed. It is a thick, heavy, somewhat sweet scent that definitely has a lot in common with other Serge Lutens fragrances. In particular, the vetiver here is a bit light, joined immediately by amber, vanilla, perhaps sandalwood, and some spices that are subtly reminiscent of chocolate. This is certainly gourmand, and as such it is a bit much for daily wear in my book, especially on hot days. I think this could be a powerhouse fall/winter scent, just like Ambre Sultan. Very nice, but still not really challenging Guerlain Vetiver, which has both more vetiver and refreshing citrus notes.
eternity summer .. great relaxing scent on a friday ..

Creed - Original Vetiver
I only have a decant of this and I'm debating buying a whole bottle. I could buy the superficially similar Muglar - Cologne and it would fill the same niche in my collection, but it's not OV...
Just because it happened to you doesn't make it interesting.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Sprayed on some Bvlgari pour Homme before going to a Best Buy store opening, as I didn't want something that would offend all the Geek Squad guys. [smiley=wink.gif]

Lalique, the one with horses head engraved on the bottle. Only the second or third wearing for me, decided to go with this as the bottle looked lonely. Better than expected in the fierce heat.

Ooooh...finally...the MAINE evenings are nice and cool! My SOTE is my newly acquired GUERLAIN "HERITAGE". I am soooooo glad that I bought this WONDERFUL fragrance! The fact that I bought it at MARSHALLS (same as T.J.MAXX) for $19.99 for a 3.4 oz. bottle only makes this fragrance that much better! Between HABIT ROUGE and HERITAGE, I am QUICKLY becoming a MAJOR GUERLAIN fan! Now...on to JICKY!
