Default Paul Smith London....what a let down.

Today I sampled London. I was at Nordstrom annual sale and while enjoying my 25 cent coffee thay only give at sale time I checking out the fragrance pickings.

I sprayed London and kept getting this great trail scent I hand to back track to my scent spraying to find it was London. It smelled great like Brandy and Spice Rum. I sprayed some on the back of my hand!

Yeah it was great for about 10mins then it turned to the bottom notes of Marc Jacobs and Dunhill.

    What a let down.

I thought the fragrance was weak all together. I could not harldy detect any presence to it.

I own London and think it is quite nice (and for once: long lasting!). I am thinking about buying Marc Jacobs too but is it too close too London? Will it be a waste of money or is the difference "big enough"?

Hi Mic! I don't think London smells anything like Marc Jacobs, then again, i've not waited around for the drydown as scentimus suggests.

I agree it is quite nice - only quite nice. Its certainly long lasting. I don't know Marc Jacobs but I suspect it may also only be quite nice!
