    Default Schiaparelli   SNUFF

Has anyone tried this mens classic from 1977. It is supposed to be quite leathery ?
Is it comparable to anything else ??
    Thanks for any help.

I have a vague recollection of it. It's leathery, also peppery and laden with tobacco. If my memory serves me right, a cross between Yatagan, Habana and Bel Ami (but a little bit more discreet) with an acidic twist.
    Currently wearing: Insensé by Givenchy

Thanks for the illustration Pieter. Amazing !!!........
Now I´m totally confused. My H&R perfume chart lists this perfume as launched in 1977. Clearly by the advertising it is much older ??

The Basenotes directory says 1940. Unfortunately, that's all it says - but it makes sense since Shocking was launched in the late 1930s.
