Default Looking for Cologne that girlfriend will love

Can anybody give me any suggestions on a quality cologne that most girls seem to really like? I'm trying to avoid the stuff like Aqua di gio that everybody wears. Thank you for your help.

Azzaro Chrome might just be the one you're looking for. No haters for this fragrance so far, but certainly well liked by many, especially girls IMHO [smiley=wink.gif]

Himalaya by Creed. I just got this one a few days ago and almost every female I work with has complimented me on it and asked what it was. 2 bought it for their husbands.

I hear women like Issey Miyake a lot (L'eau D'Issey).

John Varvatos gets noticed, too.. very sophisticated and intriguing scent.

I say, go shopping with your girlfriend some day, test a bunch of scents, and either you can agree on one, or graciously get one that she likes, even if you don't like it too much--she'll love you for it, and maybe she'll even pay! Or get one she likes and one you like and switch hit 'em.

My ex-girlfriend loved Armani Black Code. It kinda annoys me tho, now every time I wear it, it reminds me of her :'(

I've also had a lot of compliments when wearing Platinum Egoiste.

You can go classic with Gucci Envy or go for something more modern but less well known like Perry M. Otherwise, from the usual great houses of perfumery you can get:
    1. Chanel Allure
    2. Hanae Mori
    3. Caron 3rd Man
    4. Guerlain L'Instant
    5. Aigner Black

I don't have an extensive collection to choose from, but my girfriend has commented positively on Geir, Zino Davidoff, and Royall Mandarin.

My girlfriend also loves Black Code, too bad it only stays on for 2 minutes. Does this thing last on any type of skin at all? She also likes Hugo, Dolce Gabbana and always takes a deep breath when there is Aqua di Gio in the air. I'm not fond of any of these.

Why don't you bring your girlfriend with you when you go fragrance hunting? Let her pick out a couple of scents that she likes and then decide together. All women are very different and the only way to really know what SHE likes is to let her have a say in this.

People also tend to change their opinon over time and whatever scent you wear, your GF will probably start to love it because it reminds her of you. My GF for example said that Philosykos smelled like I've spilled fruitjuice on my neck and that I smelled like an old grandmother wearing Mugler Cologne. Now she loves both of them!
