What's this one like? I might have a sample of it laying around. I will check tomorrow.

My SOTD is Piper Nigrum. As I ran out of this one I forgot how good it was.

Has a contemporary feel to it despite its classic character. It's zesty mandarin oil muted by violet leaves. Woody in the base, too. Very unique. Belongs in the Bond's hemisphere of *originality*.

Nuit de Noho is a fantastic variation on the theme of Noho but veers into the gourmand lane with the addition of creamy vanilla, and a hint of chocolate.

Kouros. My wife and daughters have all gone off to a weekend-long "musical" festival, camping on the ground and getting eaten by bugs. Yaggh! (When you live for Chopin and Brahms, you don't have to put up with that crap.)

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I get to drink beer, smoke cigarettes, and wear Kouros.

    Life is good.

My SOTD, Carven Vetiver EDT, was my fourth selection from Liquid Art's extensive vetiver sampler collection. This vetiver is quite simple, and very disappointing in its longetivity. So far, of the four, the Carlo Corinto is my favorite.

My SOTE, due to the complete absence of my SOTD, is Polo Sport Extreme. This one opens with a blast of black pepper and while it softens nicely, it never strays too far from its peppery spiciness.
