Hot, humid, and miserable here today. No clothes feel right, and very few scents feel right. Guerlain's Vetiver is the obvious choice though.

Trumper's GFT for me today -- a perfect match for the heat here in Texas.

I wore Eau d'Hadrien over the weekend and was reminded again how much GFT resembles that Goutal classic. GFT has a more pronouced earthy, cypress drydown which makes it more masculine IMO. It also lasts a helluva lot longer!

    Cheers,
    Bob

Gendarme. 3 liberal shots to each side of my neck. At least I can still smell it. I think I'll add 3 more shots to my torso next time. Wafts up, you know. And maybe 1 shot to my wrists. Such is Gendarme...

Wearing Guerlain's Vetiver today after much pondering

sometimes it makes me feel old and stuffy, which I hope I am not yet
sometimes I really like it... especially on these on warm days

I'm slathered in my brand new impulse buy of the day...

    L'eau Bleue D'Issey pour homme

    Who knew?

What is it about scents getting heavily panned that makes me run out and buy them? (See:Rive Gauche, L'Instant, Marc Jacobs)

I like it; it smells like blueberries rolled in black pepper.

L'EAU BLEUE D'ISSEY is EXCELLENT! I want to buy myself another bottle (I only have 1/2 bottle remaining) but...I am waiting till BLEUE's price becomes more reasonable. OK...my SOTE is (my just arrived ONE OUNCE decant of) MPG PARFUM D'HABIT. OUTSTANDING! TOP TEN item!
