    Default annick goutal - mandragore

    greetings!

a rather unique scent, this one. apparently it's the first to use mandrake. wonderfully evocative ...mysterious even. not really a stayer, but perfect for an english summer.

    pip pip!

I like it too, but find it rather indistinct and a little boring, kind of a peppery, slightly more herbal Hadrien. The first time I tried it, I thought "Eau de Lalique?", but I like the Lalique more. And the lasting power on the AG is definitely a disappointment. However, if someone offered me a bottle (the best part about the frgarance is that packaging), I certainly wouldn't say "no"!

Not what I was hoping for. Very timid approach by the house that spawned Fier and Sables.

I had a sample and was completely underwhelmed. Just another fresh and fruity, melony blah blah blah...
