    Default Harrods' 'nose' explains...

Roja Dove explains the aroma range in handy sliding scale format in FHM Collections Spring Summer 2005.

The scale goes from 'Super-Fresh' to 'Extra-Heavy' and in this order-
    Bvlgari Aqva
    Zegna Z
    Allure Homme Sport
    Joop! Jump
    Clive Christian X
    Creed Siver Mountain Water
    Lalique PH
    Bogart PH

I was interested in some of the descriptions.

Allure '...combines the highly volatile aldehydes which gave No5 its originality back in 1921 and which are rarely found in mens perfumery....'

Lalique '...leaves a wonderful souvenir of the man who wears it....'

Bogart ' ..one of the most interesting fragrances to have been launched in the past decade..'

I am not familiar with the three above. Worth checking out?

I read those last week too. The Bogart one is quite interesting. Firstly, Roja was involved in the launch of Bogart pour Homme last year.
Secondly, I looked on the basenotes directory for comments on there and according to the directory it was made in 2004 and is now discontinued, the bottle was also different.

Yes, I do wonder about some of the 'discontinued' notes in the Bogart list as Witness is still widely advertised. Is a 'discontnued' tag definitive?

Don't know Trot. That's a question for the Big Boss, Grant.
