Default Internet Sites that offer Samples!

    www.lusciouscargo.com

Here's how it works: To place an order for 7* samples (@ $12.50 US, $15 Canada or $18 International inclusive of shipping) - enter your sample selections into the large empty box provided below, and then select your shipping destination from the drop-down box. Click on "Add to Basket". Click on "Checkout" - and follow the instructions. That's it. Voila!!

Whenever available, our samples will be the original "carded" samples that a few (not all) of our distributors provide. Please note: a (very) few of our sample vials will arrive 1/2 - 2/3 full, due either to lack of availability or to excessive sample charges passed on to us from distributor. * Also please understand that in most cases we are unable to provide you with more than one sample of a particular fragrance. We want to ensure that we have enough for everyone.

Limit one set of 7 samples per order. If you would like to order two sets, please complete your first order, complete checkout and then place your next order. *Cost of sample packets is non-refundable.*

*Exception: if one of your selections is "Diamant et Noir" (Ambregris), the total number of samples offered is 5 (and not 7).

    www.aedes.com

    Try before you buy.

All fragrances listed on our web-site can be sampled!!

If you are unsure about a fragrance, sometimes it's best to try a sample first. You can order any seven FRAGRANCE samples (that excludes candles, incense, shampoos, body lotions, shower gels, potpourris, etc.) for a Shipping and Handling charge of $12.50 (non-refundable). Each fragrance is filled in common 0.1 oz glass vials.

You receive seven complimentary fragrance samples with a regular online order. Please list the fragrances you would like to try in the comment box when checking out. If you do not list any fragrance samples we assume you leave it up to our decision to pick the samples for you.

Sometimes it happens that a fragrance sample is not in stock. Please make sure to specify one or two substitutes just in case a sample is not available.

If you only want to order seven fragrance samples the charge is $12.50. The samples are shipped via UPS Ground including our current catalog! (please keep in mind UPS does not ship to PO. Boxes). Sample Orders to Canada, AK and Hawai are $15.

The sample service program is for mail order only and can not be purchased at our store location at 9 Christopher Street. The sample service can only be ordered via the internet!

They wrote me by email that one can choose 6 free samples with an order.

And one could order 6 samples for 12 euros (info from the site).

I have never bought anything from them, tho. The shipping cost to Poland is at astronomical 16 euros.

I'd like to recommend this site, which is based in Germany, and they ship worldwide. They don't offer samples, but they only sell minis, and they have a nice variety.

    http://www.parfumflacons.com

I just got an order from them...I couldn't wait 'till early next year to try Armani Black Code...no one here has a tester, and this site sells Black Code minis.  Their prices may be a bit higher than elsewhere on some fragrances, but they had Black Code.  Not only that...I ordered from this company and one in New York City at the same time last weekend...I got my order from the German company today (air mail, $5.95) and the order from New York (ground mail) won't be here for several more days.

    Acca Kappa frag samples available
I happened upon the A+++ reviews for Acca Kappa fragrances at makeupalley.com and was stunned by comments about them being equal to or greater than L'Artisan and Serge Lutens fragrances, yet costing somewhat less. Their frags are: White Moss, Calycanthus, Mimosa, Wisteria, Hibiscus, Cedar for Men, and 1869. I emailed this little-known company and received the following response: *

Yes we do sell our fragrance vials, they are $1 each plus there is a $7.50 ship fee. If you would like to order please call us on 1-800-929-5756.

Divine fragrances at http://www.divine.fr will send out a sample package of all their scents for free, and believe me, they are well worth it!

Editions de Parfums (Malle) at http://editionsdeparfums.com will possibly send you 5ml minis of scents they deem perfect for your personality if you take the on-line questionnaire. I've never received anything from them and I've taken the friggin thing twice now...but everyone else I know has...

Sonoma Scent Studio offers a sample package (for purchase) of their famous scents at http://sonomascentstudio.com

I've noticed that perfumebay is now offering sample vials as is perfume-worldwide.com.

I went to the Malle site and did the questionnaire, then I emailed them and asked if there was somewhere near me that I could get samples. They then sent me a sample of Musc Ravageur and Iris Poudre (to Australia).
I also emailed Caron and asked the same, naming three specific scents I wanted to try (Tabac Blonde and a couple of others) they emailed back and are also sending me samples.

Bless Quarry for all this info! As of this date Antonia's cost is three bucks for three samples. And Peter William's site is in FRENCH and I need help deciphering where the sample offer is - although I feel VERY international just looking at that chic site.

Luckyscents.com has a bag of 8 seasonal samples for $25 - well worth the try.

I don't blame you, Jack, I don't drive out of my way for samples either and they just lost you as a potentially good customer. I wonder if it was worth it to them. Hermes blew me off, but no one sells their scents around here. Now I can find their samples on some websites, but at the time, I couldn't.

Thanks for the info on the Caron samples, too. I've been wanting to try a few of them and can only find one of the samples on scentedmonkey. I did order some from Antonia's Flowers two years ago and they went bad, already. I imagine it's the natural ingredients, so I wouldn't buy those samples on Ebay. Better fresh from the source.

I did the Malle questionnaire. I got a personal recommendation back (I know, I know). I emailed that I was probably going to be down in London soon, so I could try out some of their scents at Les Senteurs. A couple of samples arrived in the post soon after.

I'm as cynical as the next person, but I just don't get this type of service in many other parts of my consumer heaven, and it does make a difference.

Frederic Malle's samples are now freely available from the Malle website. You choose 3 samples and you have to pay shipping costs, which shouldn't be excessive - I think it's 10 Euro tops but don't quote me on that.

In the UK the best sample service I know is from Les Scenteurs in Belgravia - this is the mailorder arm of the famous shop. Check out http://shop.lessenteurs.com
    Their website says:
"To assist you in making the right choice of fragrance from a distance, we provide a sample service. We will send a phial of fragrance for you to try before you order; a small service charge of £2.50 per sample *(for postage & packaging) will be made. ... Up to six samples (please do not exceed this limit) of any of the fragrances listed on the website may be obtained at one time."

    There's a German site
    http://www.ausliebezumduft.de/index.php

that does a sample service - I haven't used it yet but I hear good things about it. Here's what their website says:
    "Dear customer,

in our new shop you have the option to order below the product description the favoured samples. The minimum amount is 15,-Euro. That means: If you order at least 5 samples (each sample is ca. 1,5 ml - 2,5 ml), you reach this amount. The costs for the spray flacons, in which we fill your samples, the handling and the delivery costs for the delivery within Germany are included. This also applies for samples of cosmetics.

If you order only samples outside of Germany, 5, - Euro mailing expenses will be charged.

If you decide to order a bigger amount of scent samples, the price will increase according to the wanted amount and the chosen product. In the order transaction you can choose the version: uninsured delivery. This delivery option is only for an absolute sample delivery possible, because we send the fillings in a lined envelope. There aren't any additional delivery costs for you. They are included in the sample price (only with the delivery within Germany, otherwise plus 5,-Euro)"

OK, the translation is idiosyncratic, but you've got to see the range they stock! Most impressive and well worth a look.

Vero Profumo also has a sample set of her 3 perfumes for 20 Swiss francs
    http://veroprofumo.com/order.html

The often-underestimated Fragonard brand does a superb trial box of 10x2ml tiny bottles of assorted parfum for 19 Euro - I'm still working my way through mine. They also have a variety of other combinations of trial sizes and minis that enable you to try most things in their range.

    Hope all this is helpful.

Czech & Speake also has a generous and free sample program.

Go to http://www.czechandspeake.com/ and click on samples. You will need to register with them first before they will send you the samples.

The samples and shipping are free. Shipping is free even if you are outside UK. For example, they sent me 9 samples to me in Singapore absolutely free. It took me approximately 3 weeks for the samples to arrive, after I had registered.

ok, here;s my Fredric malle order samples experience: ( I posted this on another link today, guess it was the wrong place) I ordered 6 samples on their order page and the price is .00 but they say on the bottom that there is a shipping charge for each set of 3 you order. They don't tell you the cost of the shipping charge . I do the transaction with credit card.... still no indication of the shipping charge. Transaction complete- still no sign of what they just billed you for! I email them... they tell me 40 euros which I Googled and it comes out to 51.00
I'm trying to cancel the order.... We'll see if they will credit my account the money.
you figure 6 samples at 2ml a sample would come out to 36.00 if you think of 3.00 perml and then 15 dollars shipping. too much for me. Sure hope they cancel. Where do you get Fred Malle samples anyway? all's i know is Lucky scent.

A second vote for the Czech and Speake sample program. Very classy. The samples are attached to cologne bottle shaped cards, and on the back is a description of the scent. Awesome. So far I love no. 88 and Cuba the most.

VERY helpful! Thanks! I did not know about Vero and Fragonard. Speaking of the latter I LOVE the set of miniatures with the soleil cap. Drool-worthy.

Wow, and to think I almost pulled the trigger on their sample 'special' a couple weeks ago. I chickened out at the last second precisely because I didn't know what the shipping charges would be. I thought they might be a bit high, but 51 dollars is absurd! Please let us know the outcome. Good luck!

They (Fred Malle Editions site.) refunded my 51.00 to my credit card, real happy for that.

I ended up calling Barneys (hours away) and I was sent 3 free samples with a 13.00 shipping charge, they go FED X. Didn't like giving my credit card info over the phone... but the things you'll do for perfume... They only let you have 3 samples. I was wanting 6! Oh well, can't complain. It only took 4 days to get here.
