    Default Copyright issues?

    Hello, I'm new here! I've been a member of POL for ages but I wanted to join here as well. *waves to tigrushka and the other POLers*

    I would like to ask if there are any copyright issues concerning posting information about perfumes not in the database? Do you have to confirm the info somewhere or do you need to tell where the info is from?

    I have a big database about perfume, collected during a few years. I have photos of the perfumes in the database as well (not taken by me). How about photo copyrights?

    Thanks!

    Where do you get the photos of perfumes from? Do the perfume companies give them to you as promotional material? I would be so happy to share the photos and other info I have collected but I guess that I cannot do it because of copyright reasons. Blah. :-/

    The photos on the main directory are either:
    * taken by us
    * taken by someone else, and given us permission to use
    * provided by fragrance companies.

    If you have images of photos which you have taken yourself, I would be more than happy for you to share them with us. Otherwise, we would need to contact the individual copyright holders, which is a PITA!
