Thanks for the scoop, Cedric! Sounds like something I'd like to sniff and the bottles look great.

Yep, I think there will be a few interesting fall releases this year.
Karim Rashid had already designed the pebble-like Ryoko purse sprays for Kenzo and both Echo bottles for Davidoff. I love the shapes, still I prefer to be able to see the juice inside.

No problem, TAZ (I have to re-read the rules every now and then myself). Posting a link is perfectly all right!

Bottles are really piece of art! I was very doubtful when I heard a name of the fragrance couple of months ago, but now, when I saw bottles and read the article at wwd.com, Kenzoamour sounds much better.
Description of the fragrance sounds promising.

I like most of Kenzo scents, and Parfum d'Ete is my all time favourite.

Flower musk that sounds exciting to me. I'm really looking forward to that one!

To me, the notes don`t seem very interesting, neither does the bottle (looks like a vase from the sixties), but knowing myself, I will probably buy it if it hits our little town, and I have the cash... :-/

btw: I find it hard to know if I will like a scent or not, just by reading the notes. I have found so many frags I like, who had what I assumed were "wrong" notes for me. (and vise versa!)

The scent sounds wonderful - can't wait to sniff it! The bottles are okay imo (yeah, I'm a philistine, I accept that), but I followed that link and found the Cocorosie music waaaay creepy.

I've also found that to be the case. For example, I think I can't wear patchouli. But some of my favorite fragrances have patchouli in them. It depends on the amounts used I suppose, and how it is blended, that makes the sum of a fragrance greater than its parts in the hands of a master perfumer.

I have no idea what thanaka wood smells like -- but I love all the other notes. It does seem yummy. Of course, I would never buy without trying it first. :-)
