    Default Parfums de Rosine

Having just read a fairly alarming article by Greenpeace on the
harmful substances many of our favourite perfumes are supposed to
contain (Phthalates and synthetic Musk), I was interested to see which
companies they have given the GREEN light to. Parfums de Rosine,
Centifolia and The Different Company being some of the few they approve of.
Do any of you own any of the Parfums de Rosine EDT's and if so, which
would you recommend. I like the sound of Poussiere de Rose just from
the description and have oredered a few samples from Aus Liebe der Duft.
Also, am I the only person to worry about what perfumes actually contain?

No, you're not the only one. 8-)

However the Greenpeace info may be a little old and reformulations may have been on the way as we speak.
Do you have a link so I can check again and see if it's the old info ( regarding CK, Chanel and Dior etc) I knew about or a new one?
Bear in mind that they tested very popular perfumes at the time of the reserch ( if it's the one I remember they tested Poison, #5, Obsession etc, which puts the time frame in late 80's), so I am sure they are many more thayt contain harmful ingredients but they are just not mentioned due to lack of popular demand.

    You can read some info on musks on my personal site (perfume terms section);

From Parfums de Rosine which you ask about I really like Rose d'homme, a perfection of a frag. But I am no great roses lover, so bear that in mind. They seem to have something for every mood.

It's always best to test on your own skin to find out which ones are for you, and you have already ordered samples so...

I have and love Poussière, d'Homme and d'Amour.

A kind and generous Basenoter sent me a sample of La Rose and I fell in love, very wearable, powdery in the middle, with soft iris and violet undertones, nice! My mom is getting a 100 ml bottle of it from me, I believe.

I also tried Ecume (a close relative to Stella, only more on a fruity side) and D'Homme (slightly stand-offish aldehyde beginning develops into an Ode to a rose stem -- woody and earthy).

I have, and deeply love, Rosa Flamenca. I want Un Zeste de Rose and Rose d'Ete. I'm waiting for samples of others in the line, and I cannot wait to try Ecume de Rose and Un Folie de Rose. I'll let you know if I like them. Beauty Habit has samples very reasonably priced.
