Default Your reach for what on that first spring day

My arm developed a life all its own and reached for Arpege earlier this week. I know. Arpege???? The vintage Arpege, that is. Soft, velvety, and subtle. Then today #5 was The Perfect One. I love both vintage and modern of this one, the modern one being spicier and deeper. Tomorrow will be Helmut Lang.

Well, you know I pretty much wear my fragrances year round, but that's when I normally reach for L'Air du Temps, White Linen, L'Or de Torrente, Paris, Irma Shorell Rose... those come to mind right now.

There's a good chance it will be Bulgari pour Femme- but I still probably have about 3 more months to go here.

Usually it's Creed's Selection Verte, Diptyque's Olène, maybe Acqua di Parma Colonia, maybe Givenchy's Insensé, maybe Goutal's Eau de Monsieur or Hadrian Absolu.

    Nina Ricci Love in Paris!
It's rose, peony, star anise, apricot, green of violet, jasmin, musk, vanilla and wood. nothing to try out in a perfume shop - too delicate.

I hope my La Chasse aux Papillons will arrive from Lusiouscargo before spring comes to Norway! If it doesn`t, then I might sniff my old White Linen Breeze, to see if I still like it

L'Interdit, L'Air Du Temps, or Love's Rain Scent for those first breezy & balmy spring days from April-May.
First warm day hitting 80 degrees in May or June I break out the vintage Oh! de London.

Hey! Loves Rain Scent! My hairstylist and I got to talking perfumes and her signature scent for years was LRS. I got her some off Ebay for a Christmas present! Its been discontinued, I think. So you're not alone- others love and persue that one still!

    Dear RitaMae,
How IS L'Interdit? Is it the original or the modern version that you have? I can't find it here, which is a real disappiontment , being a fan of a certain Ms.Hepburn...It's like, the notes don't tell you the whole story :-/

    Irma Shorell long-lost perfumes - Casaque! It's
divine!!! Originally by Jean d'Albret, now re-created
    by the above company.
