Thread: Ferre news
Italian group IT Holding, which owns the Gianfranco Ferré fashion house, is investing heavily in the label's relaunch. On January 11, Ferré opened its first point-of-sale (400m2) in Florence, and its third Parisian boutique is set to open this spring on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, along with a corner in the Galeries Lafayette department store. At the same time, Ferré plans to open its first store in Beirut, Lebanon, and its first outlet for the junior label GF Ferré, to be located in Milan.
The label is also investing in communication, with American actress Julia Roberts to serve as spokesperson for the next two fashion seasons. Ferré fragrances are licensed to ITF, which plans to launch a new top-end men's fragrance in the fall.
In the States, Ferre is carried in the EPCOT World Pavillion's Fragrances of Italy shop, Orlando, Fla.
In a world where 6 million people are added each month, every landscape matters.
