    Default REMINDER:  Fragrance nominations

We need to make our nominations for The Sixth Annual Basenotes Awards! We have only until the end of November and I only count one female BN member who's made nominations for the female categories (and I haven't made mine yet either :-[). See thread:

By the way, we're not actually VOTING right now, just making nominations, so I *think* we can nominate more than one per category. At least that's what we did last year.

Thanks for the reminder, Lady L!

I just added my nominations, it was just as an impossible task as always. :-[

Thanks for the reminder, Lady Lonestar!
How come there are no categories for "worst scent" and "2005 most dissapointing releases"?
    You folks are so positive!
    c'mmon!

    - I will be adding mine pretty soon. I am waiting for The Third Man to arrive first as I suspect it is going to be my favourite men's scent. I am pre-biased, and shamelessly admit it!

Ayala, I feel certain Third Man will not disappoint you.

I've still got to make my nominations, too. I had wanted to sample Youth Dew Amber Nude before making my nominations but I doubt that will be possible. :'(

    Thanks Laura

You can vote for more than one in each category.

I will pick the finallists from what is nominated.

    Cheers

Well, IMO the board is bursting with "most revolting/horrible/repulsive/yucky/disgusting scent" threads anyway so a positive touch is actually a welcome change. :

I might have to wait for Fragrance Awards 2007, to let all my impressions mature.
I have such a troublemind now, with all these newly discovered houses and scents. I change my mind all the time, and there are so many I am new to, and so many yet to try. You could say I´m fragrance-promiscuous. I hope it stablilzes.
Maybe I´ll nominate in the cathegorys I feel more secure about.
