Eau de Rochas for men, GREAT!

    Have a nice day,
    Val
If you were to say to the grown-ups: “I saw a beautiful house made of rosy brick, with geraniums in the windows and doves on the roof,” they would not be able to get an idea of that house at all. You have have to say to them: “I saw a house that cost $20,000.” Then they would exclaim: “Oh, what a pretty house that is!”

(extract from "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry)

Inspired by your love of all things Dzing! I sniffed it out at Liberty the other day Concord, hmmmm hmm! *Very lovely! *That's what I love about the SOTD threads, when I see someone using the same fragrance quite often, I like to go and check it out and usually I fall in love with it!

Speaking of recurring scents, I am wearing Samsara Shine again today *:-*

tdem1961: New or Vintage? I like them both, but can't get rid of "plastic-y" note in the new one. The old one is sublime though. And a confession here: all Rochas tickle me in the right way. :-)

    Veronica: Any fragrant gifts?

The cold front is finally here. EL Private Collection for me today.

Lucky you! It hasn't made it this far south, unfortunately. :'( Private Collection sounds great though. I'm enjoying the remains of the Molto Missoni I sampled late last night. What a pity this one is discontinued. I'm thinking I'll wear MPG George Sand today.

Rosine's Rose d'Homme layered with Jo Malone's Orange Blossom (to femme up Homme's great sandalwood).

Temps have dropped almost 30° since yesterday. Looking forward to craving the meatier scents.

Helmut Lang EDP. Yes, it's cooled down here considerably as well. Helmut feels right today- cozy.

Sampling l'Instant today from my miniatures set. It's low-pitched magnolia (I think) and amber, very nice but not as surprise-ful as Mitsouko. Tigs, your cat is lovely!

The classic version of Shalimar. It's going to be rather warm today in the 80's.

Testing Crypt from Gothic Rosary sample kit I received yesterday. I am definitely not the goth type; however, this stuff is very nice. Green. Moss.

Thank you to everyone; had a great birthday. Glad I took off from work yesterday and today. Went to a club with friends (I got carded - YES!). Had a good laugh - there was a guy who danced like FuFu's cat. That is great if you are a cute, anthropomorphic cat - not so good if you are a 30 yr old businessman! Note to guys: Isn't that matching shirt and tie/Polo EDT thing over a long time ago?

I wasn't feeling well today so decided to finish a small bottle of Omnia. Wouldn't you know, it lasted all day! I couldn't wait to shower it off.
