NIB means "New In Box", never been opened or used. Sometimes still with the plastic wrap around it.

Pay attention though , because sometimes , they say that and turns out the perfume is either old or has been sprayed once and then resealed.
(I know , that's dishonest , but you can verify and it saves on returns or dissatisfaction )
