"Red" by Giorgio.
What is it with EDT samples you adore turning into so-so fragrances when you buy the big bottle in an EDP? Is it psychological?
The gorgeous smooth EDT sample of "Red" by Giorgio turned into something a little less wonderful - though it's not bad, it's definitely off my A list. I thought it would be even more wonderful as an EDP, so bought a bottle of it. I really thought a fragrance like that would have been improved by the richer concentration.
This is the third fragrance sample I tested as an EDT, bought in the EDP version, and liked less. The others were Comme Une Chance and Gianfranco Ferre. That wonderful light orange blossom note in G.F. turns more vanillic in the EDP, Comme was less airy and had a more prevalent sillage in EDP.
Told ya so! Warning, however -- don't try to spray it over Spellbound. It's a terrible olfactory mess. Hey! And you got a compliment on Estee, right? Woo-hoo! [smiley=tekst-toppie.gif]Originally Posted by glorious1
