Ou, sounds beautiful -- bottle, too! Need to get a sample of this one. I love white florals if done properly.

Notes for perfumes are getting more & more fanciful and abstract, eg. "Kauai Waterfalls & Oxygenated Water". Not sure how they capture the essence of those, but the description of the notes certainly gives the impression they want to convey, of a very lush floral.

Yes, it's worked; I want to try it.

I don't know, folks. *I'm seeing a Beyond Paradise clone here, and the fanciful, ridiculous name for the notes - especially as they're all just synthetic chemicals in a tube that have never been anywhere near Kauai, the Galapagos, or hydroponic anything - just give me less hope.

It's a light, watery, synthetic floral just like everything else on the market. *I'd bet by bottom dollar on it.

Make that a light, watery, and vaguely fruity synthetic light floral - and Serpent is dead-on accurate in her prediction. As for scenic locales - it's a safe bet that the final product was driven via 18-wheeler past some of the scenic rolling hills of New Jersey en route to a distribution center before making its way to a mall near you...

The packaging is beautiful. The scent... well... it's better than Beyond Paradise. I found it a little thin and watery. By the way, Serpent is a guy!

I am a guy, and I was pretty dead-on in my prediction, too. Take Beyond Paradise, put a touch of Michael in it, and voilą! You have Island. Two boring scents make another boring scent. Not impressed...

I got a bottle of this when it first came out and i LOVE it. Great scent for summer. It has a very minty floral quality to it that i like. Oh, the bottle is a work of art i think.
