Default Hello! Newbie here! Carla Fracci ?

New to the board, but NOT new to fragrance, LOL! Just sampled Carla Fracci this past week-end- but can't find out what the notes are. Anybody know? It is a gorgeous understated elegant scent!

Hi apollonia and a big welcome! I haven't heard of Carla Fracci and can't seem to find its notes, either. New launch - 2004.

I can't find a listing either and I am not very suave at picking out individual notes. [smiley=cry.gif] [smiley=cry.gif]
It is beautiful and haunting at the same time.

    Welcome to Basenotes!

OK, I remember just a tiny bit about this. I know Carla Fracci as a great ballerina, and I remember reading that she had launched a fragrance, but I didn't know much more than that. I searched a bit and see that she's actually introduced two fragrances (Carla Fracci and Giselle). I have no idea why the notes and details are so hard to find, though. Nordstrom's lists Tuberose and Ylang Ylang as notes for Carla Fracci parfum, but they don't carry Giselle. I'll check around a little more when I get home and can access my bookmarks.

Hello and Greetings- I vaguely remember also reading something about Carla Fracci's fragrances but know about as much as Mark already posted. I haven't tried either of her fragrances yet.
Scent is such a lovely, simple pleasure!
