    Default SOTD 14th March 2005

Off to London for a few days, so I'll start the day off with something neutral, either Helmut Lang or SMN Muschio.

    Good morning!

    LāArtisan Parfumeur *Poivre Piquant*

[blue]To my nose, a cross between *Passage d'Enfer* and *CdG 2 EDP*. A very intriguing fragrance. Has anyone else tried this one?

P.S. Tigrushka, please tells us a little--if you wouldn't mind--how *Impˇrial Opoponax * wears on you. I think its a very edgy, complex scent. I like it a lot, and am I thinking about purchasing it.

I find it very rich, resinous and ambery with a wonderful woody "burn" to it, warm and sweet. It's not powdery but still has that comfortable enveloping feel.

Here's a pretty good description of IO:

Besides, it's great value for money.
Get it, you won't regret it!

    Thanks Tigrushka.

Glad to see you like it too and yes *Impˇrial Opoponax* and the Les Nˇrˇides line in general is excellent value. I find all of their fragrances I've tested thus far have excellent longevity. Are you finding this to be the case with *Impˇrial Opoponax*?

IO lasts long, at least on my skin.

Have many Les Nˇrˇides samples waiting, should give them a go soon. Patchouli Antique sounds especially promising!
