Default Celeb frags tested in a Finnish mag

Here's what Finnish women said about the following celeb frags they tested. Those who know Finnish might read the test here http://www.iltalehti.fi/2005/03/08/h...11067_he.shtml

    NAOMI CAMPBELL Paradise Passion
    * The bottle is beautiful and suits Naomi perfectly.
    * This is definitely a scent for a dark lady.
    * Fruity, very sweet scent that really brings paradise to mind.

    STELLA McCARTNEY Stella
    * The bottle is like a jewel but also a bit masculine. Fits nicely in the handbag.
    * This one smells like power so it would suit a tough career woman.
    * This scent is powerful and a bit masculine.

    CINDY CRAWFORD Feminine
    * The bottle is old-fashioned but suits Cindy.
    * A fresh spring or summer scent that doesn't annoy anyone.
    * The scent felt like a Barbie doll scent at first but on skin it turned into a scent for a mature woman.

    CELINE DION notes
    * The bottle is classic and simple like Celine herself.
    * This one is a good work scent, not too sweet or floral, quite fresh. Probably won't annoy anyone.
    * Reminds me a bit of Red Door.

    BEYONCƒ KNOWLES True Star
    * The bottle is beautiful and minimalistic.
    * This scent doesn't quite suit exotic BeyoncŽ, it would be a better match with a blond and sporty type.
    * Watery, somehow wishy-washy scent that evaporates quickly. Reminds me of other Hilfiger fragrances.

    JENNIFER LOPEZ Miami Glow
    * The bottle reminds me of Jennifer's curves. The beach jewellery that comes with it is probably trying to give it Mexican flavour, I suppose.
    * This one smells like suntan lotion and coconut. Very sweet.
    * Smells cheap, a bit like after shave. Good for the beach.

    ISABELLA ROSSELLINI Daring
    * The bottle looks beautiful and classic. The stopper is handy.
    * This one is a scent for a classic beauty. Suits an upper-class lady.
    * This scent is clearly more grown-up than the others, just like Isabella.

I don't see Stella as a celebrity fragrance. Stella McCartney is maybe the daughter of a Beatle but she is most of all a designer, no?

That's what I would think too. And I wouldn't call the scent Stella "masculine" at all. I found it to be a romantic, ambery rose.

But it's still a really interesting article. Thanks, Tigrushka!

I was surprised by the description of Stella, too. I don't like it myself but I would not call it "masculine" or "a career woman's scent". Another example how different people's perceptions can be.

I also agree that she's a designer, not a celebrity (even though I think that her name has helped her, a lot ).
