Default RL Safari EDP for a man (wink wink K-man)

Ok - I have always sorta liked Safari for women, and K had suggested that a man could pull it off. What do you folks think?

Most definitely. It has a pretty butch edge in it. I have also heard that the men's version is quite nice...haven't sniffed that one.

    Wear it!

I agree it has a green start and a somewhat woody base.

Well, I got a 1 0z EDP of Safari courtesy of our very own Martin from Montreal. First, the bottle is really lovely, isn't it? - very vintage appearrance...and most of RL's bottles are quite simple and plain.

I checked the RL website and noticed that Safari for women is no longer listed there. SO CAN WE ASSUME THAT IT HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED?

The fragrance - very soft, sweet, and powdery at the opening. It then turns grassy and mossy while retaining the floral hints. The scent itself has a vintage feel - perhaps its the floral and aldehyde blend of notes. Overall it's a little heavy for me, but quite interesting nonetheless. My SO didn't care for it very much.
