    Default Annick Goutal candles

Anyone tried this range? Are they any good?

There is a new addition to the range - Cedar - and I am quite tempted to try it. Any thoughts?

I bought a small Eau d'Hadrien candle last week, but I haven't tried it (it was a little present). The good thing is that they sell the small candles for just 10 euros, while the big ones are 35. I assume prices are similar in Paris.

I haven't seen the Cedar candle yet.

I'm burning a Goutal Noel candle right now. A very fresh outdoor evergreen odor--very good quality IMHO, but because they are pricey, one only as a special treat for this season.

I am currently using Vanilla Orchid by Aquiesse but it is not really getting the job done in covering the room. What house makes the strongest candles and are diffusers better?

Diptyque candles are pretty good and worth a try.

I tried the Diptyque and they are good quality but being a fan of
vanilla, theirs just didn't get the job done. Thanks for the input, much appreciated. Clueless with these threads, pms, posts and blogs.

The AG Noel candles are half off right now at Barneys Warehouse. There's a couple Cire Trudons at 30% off too. Dayna Decker, Alora, DL & Co and Barney's own brand have some offerings marked down too.

I agree! I think most good candles make a fine gift for almost anyone on any occasion. The Noel candles are especially nice to use as a hostess gift around the holidays.

Picked up a few of the Cire Trudon candles as gifts for some of my employees. I hope they will enjoy them.
