I am asking about the best Cartier fragrance for men. What do you all think?

    Declaration, no doubt!

Declaration is a good scent, yes. I enjoy that raunchy cardamon note. I have Must de Cartier sample in my closet which I still haven`t tried. But yeah; Declaration is one to beat.

If you enjoy dark-hearted fragrances, Santos is the one to have.

Declaration is my favorite, in either the original or the Essence version.
Must de Cartier Pour Homme is also good in either original or Essence. I wish it
lasted longer, though. Declaration keeps going and going, but Must dies early.

Santos is a powerhouse, but not one I want to wear much.

Pasha doesn't do anything for me.

Having said all that, I don't think Cartier produces any fragrances that are truly bad.

Although officially marketed as a feminine fragrance, Le Baiser du Dragon works great as a masculine fragrance. Be a bit bold and give it a try.

Eau de Cartier (not the Concentree version) is my favorite from the house. It's a simple/straightforward scent that is crisp and clean. My only complaint is that it doesn't last long. The Concentree is supposed to be a stronger version of this scent but I personally think it's not as balanced as the original.

I haven't tried a heck of a lot of Cartier, to be honest. Nevertheless...

I have Pasha. It is rather minty-fresh. It smells awesome on a card, but on my skin, I think it is so-so. Strong stuff too. IMHO Paco Rabanne - XS Pour Homme is better. I used to have Pasha Fraicheur Menthe. I thought the original was better, and more mint came off the original than the Menthe version for some reason.

Santos Concentree is nice and dark and masculine ... dry and spicy. Wife doesn't like it though. I think it is the sandalwood.

So true! I like (nee, love) Declaration, Must de Cartier Pour Homme, and L'Essence de Must de Cartier all about the same. Fortunately, they are also different horses for different courses, being more appropriate according to season and situation. I haven't tried Santos or Pasha yet, but look forward to. Eau de Cartier is really the only one that I don't care for for some reason.

Siiiigh, from the one in every crowd department, Eau du Cartier Concentre gets my vote if for no other reason than how having two or three of the huuuge bottles of it turns any room into an old timey barbershop. They look just like those things that they used to soak combs in to kill god knows what. Oh, and it's a great, long lasting green without any sort of sweet scent.

Must de Cartier Pour Homme (Essence Version)
Must de Cartier Pour Femme (EDT, EDP, or parfum -- all are wonderful)

Either gender version is rich and decadent and wonderful. Be forewarned, though: both are -- IMHO -- very formal and not "jeans and t-shirts" kinds of scents.
