YSL M7 Fresh
Live Jazz, old summer fave.
EA City Glam... oh dear!
I bought a 50ml bottle for £7 after testing it the other day. It's clearly not a 5* scent, but I like it for the way it makes me feel? It's a cold, quite windy day, and I needed something sweet and a bit of fun.

Carthusia Ligea "La Sirena": The warm, powdery scent of opoponax intermingles with the fresh notes of mandarin in this vital and seductive fragrance.

Just because it happened to you doesn't make it interesting.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Route du Vetiver. Oh it's great.
That girl, that bottle, that mattress and me.
(taking a break from sampling and going back to a favorite)
After a lunch time workout I have switched to YSL Opium Eau D'Orient, which arrived by post today. So far so good - definitely the Opium we know and love, but with a refreshing grapefruit top note. I got a compliment from a colleague within 2 minutes of spraying it - a record!
I recently criticised the longevity of this one after testing it in store, so will ba paying attention as the day goes on...

It's a summer day: Vetiver Hombre by Adolfo Dominguez.
Le dandy, D'Orsay
Guerlain Vetiver. The tonka bean note came out pretty strong today (:
The mysterious fragrance of water lily is the inspiration for Parfums 06130 Lys. Its top notes of mandarin, verbena, bergamot, grapefruit and blackcurrant enhance the complex sweetness of the floral accord. Water lily unfolds its glossy petals in the heart of the fragrance, where it is laced with cardamom, thyme, nutmeg and rose. The silky woody base of sandalwood, cedar and musk balances out the lush floral composition, while an earthy touch of moss and vetiver transports one to the shady bank of a pond overgrown with lilies.
WANTED buy/swap: Creed "Acier Aluminum" , L'Occitane "Eav des Bavx", Comme Des Garcons stuff especially "Dry Clean"
Current Top 10: TM Cologne, Mark Birley, Dzing, Vetiver Extraordinaire, Geir, Divine's "L'Homme de Coeur", Penhaligons 'Endymion",
Creed Original Vetiver, Diptique Tam Dao, Hugo Boss "Spirit"
De Nicolai's Balle de Match seems to be holding up pretty well in todays 80-degree (ca. 27 C) heat here in Western New England.
L'Homme de Coeur by Divine. This is a lovely iris with angelica and a soft-and-gentle amber feel to it. It's so subtle, yet long lasting. Stays close to skin.
Green Irish Tweed
Top Notes: Lemon, Verbena
Middle Notes: Iris, Violet Leaves
Base Notes: Mysore Sandalwood, Ambergris
