    Default Allure Homme....Summer or Winter?

Very nice scent. Good longevity. Just wondering if you guys think it is better suited for summer or winter. I am kinda going in between the two. What do you guys think..

Summer evenings, and anytime during the winter.

I like it anytime, but I think it's best in Winter.

I think you're good to go in all seasons with it. I received it as a gift in the summer time and tend to think of it as more of a summer scent -- but it's good anytime -- sweet, warm and fresh. mm

i really think this scent is great for winter, because it is in my experience a fresh oriental with a touch of sexy. It is such a relaxed yet sexy scent and it has good projection. Goes well with your body's pheremones and produces a very alluring scent.

it works magic in winter but i bust it out during those summer evenings or days where i know i am going to be in an A/C room all day or something. that citrus opening is pretty summery too.

I used to wear it in an everyday kind of situation and weather but lately (last year-to-now) i just think it's a bit too much when the temp. goes very high up, so i thy to use it on summer nights and on fresher times...
    always always gets me compliments!

Summer AND Winter. That's the genius of Chanel.

Not good for exteme summer temps, however. A little too rich and sweet fer that. I think that it's best suited for cooler weather, particularily the months in between summer and winter, before you switch to something darker and deeper.

Allure is an oriental, but it still has hints of citrus and green freshness. Its suitable for all seasons but I think winter is the best time to wear it because of that sweet caramel, vanilla, tonka base. The Sport version is better for summer.

I find it to be a bit of a 'Jekyll and Hyde' fragrance - starting fresh and then turning into something really heavy. The top notes are very summery but the base notes definitely aren't.

    That sounds about right.
