I'm going with Euphoria Men.
CK Euphoria Men
Davidoff Silver Shadow
Polo Double Black
None of the above
Well, I was at L.S. Ayres today (which will be Macy's on Sept. 9th). After the SA (who I know very well) sold a bottle of Le Male to a customer, I chatted with her about the upcoming designer launches between now and September. In between talking sales stats and the new Perfumania (read: competition) in the mall, she gave me some tidbits:
To kick off the new smell season, Davidoff Silver Shadow (already a best-seller in Europe) should be launching in the US in a few weeks. In August, we'll be seeing Tommy 10 and Polo Double Black.
But September is where the real doozy starts. We're talking four major megalaunches here in addition to the namechange to Macy's. First, there's the new Burberry London for men. Then, we'll (finally) be seeing Gaultier2. Next, there's Prada Amber Pour Homme. And, finally, Calvin Klein's Euphoria Men will be the icing on this perfumed cake.
BUT WHO WILL SURVIVE THIS TIDE?
That's where all you come in. Vote for the scent that you think will sell the most on the market.

I am not afraid to keep on living - I am not afraid to walk this world alone.
I'm going with Euphoria Men.
You asked which will sell, not personal likes ... In my neck of the woods, anything Polo is still huge. I think it will be a big seller, at least in Kansas, because of the name.
My vote was for Euphoria man. Calvin's scents are plain vanilla choices to the Mrs Joe Blows of America who's men really have no interest in scent and wear what the Ms in their life buys for them.
What I'm trying to say is they are good safe scents....
I second Euphoria for men...Calvin Klein scent's are widely distributed over here....However, personally I am more curious on Prada's new scent....
Silver Shadow has been here in Australia for quite a while, and although I am eagerly waiting for Euphoria, based on the responses of acquaintances, Silver Shadow seems quite popular.
Voted for Gaultier2... Alright, I'm biased...
Seriously, who would give a bubblegummy, sweet, floral, synthetic smelling(at first) scent like this a second thought?
I suppose it will be Euphoria that will sell best in the States, followed by another Americans (Tommy+Polo)
I myself am waiting very much for that new London; the "port-wine" note sounds extremely delicious!
I voted for the CK and I'm sure the Polo will do pretty well too.
Not sure about Gaultier˛ though. It might do well in urban areas, but I'm not sure Middle America is ready for this. Besides it's not your typical launch, I think it's one of those rare fragrances of which sales grow with time, contrary others sell very strongly in their first year and then decline in sales.
I just wonder which one of them will actually smell any good....
