Seeing as though I rarely wear the same fragrance twice in a month, I don't technically have one, but if I were to pick a couple fragrances that defined my olfactory signature I'd have to say they'd be Parfumerie Generale Cuir d'Iris and Helmut Lang EdC/EdP, with Guerlain Mouchoir de Monsieur close behind.

It used to be Antaeus. But that was easy, because it was the only one I knew!

    ATM I don't have one.

Currently, a rotation between Gucci Envy, Guerlain Vetiver, Ungaro III, Roberto Capucci PH and Knize Ten. But I don't think this rotation might turn permanent and "committed", I might consider some variations.

Once upon a time... Obsession for Men, then it was Racquets by Penhaligons until 2005, when Dior Homme became the signature. As much as I love different scents, some days I when I don't wear DH, I feel like I'm cheating on a good and loyal friend! That said, I agree with the last few posts, in that I'm wearing some others more these days (e.g. Habit Rouge, Guerlain Vetiver), but DH is still the number 1.

Top 7 (Feb 2009): Dior Homme (incl Intense & Cologne versions), Penhaligon's Racquets Formula, Kenzo Power, Prada Infusion d'Homme, Gendarme, Guerlain's Veiver & Habit Rouge

I have favourites but I don't have a signature frag, I have too many fragrances to have just one.

It was Eternity for men and Antaeus in 1990-1993.
Now it`s hard for me to choose a signature scent.

A three-way tie: Héritage, Bois de Portugal and Kouros. Héritage really comes out on top most days, IMHO.

I love Grey Flannel, Catalyst for Men, Millésime Impérial, Calvin for Men (the original) and Lagerfeld Classic.

Azzaro pour Homme, Polo Green and Giorgio for Men (these ideas from TwoRoads) also rank high.

    YES. Perfectly stated!
The handful of fragrances that I finally narrowed down to can briefly be summed up by Serge Lutens' Cuir Mauresque.

NOTE: This may change any minute now

I have none. I suppose I used to. The first one was Jade East. I quickly tired of its oriental intensity and went over to the much calmer Canoe. In the 80's, I suppose Fahrenheit was the one. Hadrien (Annick Goutal) was my first "niche" SS in the mid 90's.

I was thinking about what my signature scent is last night.

Of all the scents I have, I'm starting to feel bogged down. Do people really remember me by what I've worn? I wear a different fragrance everyday. Does that confuse people when I encounter them? My boss wears the same scent everyday. You know he's been somewhere or is coming from the faint smell of violet leaves and woods (he wears Curve!).

A few hours before bed I wanted to retest Azzaro pour Homme. As I sniffed, I thought that is was wonderful and would be a great signature scent. Of course, I thought the same thing for a number of scents I've tried: Canali for Men, Homme de Gres, the new DKNY Men... the original Polo... Armani Diamonds for Men

I don't specifically have one fragrance I wear but I will say I have a "signature accord". ANything with a spicy cedarwood.

Like most basenoters I am constantly trying and experimenting with new magic, but for the past year my sig scent has been LeLabo Rose 31. I seem to get stuck in year and a half increments on favorites. Two years ago it was CdG Avignon, and before that Bulgari PH, then Gendarme, and a couple yrs. before that Erolfa.

But Rose 31 is me for this past year and a half. But, the NEW keeps calling.

Giorgio for Men was my signature scent for more than 20 years. When I started running low on the 15 bottles I had hoarded and found out what vintage bottles were selling for on eBay, I started looking for a new less expensive signature scent and discovered Basenotes.

Eventually 'Vintage' Tabarome assumed the number one position in my wardrobe after stints by Polo (green), Azzaro pour Homme, Heritage and Chanel Pour Monsieur (1955).

Giorgio for Men returned to production about one year ago and has resumed its rightful place at the top of my wardrobe although the others are close behind.

Nowadays, I rarely wear anything more than once per month so my signature scent is more mental than actual.
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ...... I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost
