Default Trussardi Uomo vs Czech & Speake No. 88

With all the talk about Czech & Speake No. 88 I thought I'd mention one I wore a few days ago called Trussardi Uomo. This one starts out spicy with tobacco but after a while I got a prominent rose note which was more powdery while the rose in No. 88 smells like rosewater to me. Trussardi Uomo also has a leather component I don't get in No. 88. They don't smell alike but iff you like 88 I suggest you try this one too though it is hard to find. Does anyone else notice any similarities?

I would actually say of the two that I prefer Trussardi Uomo. Why do they make the good stuff so hard to find and then come out with inferior stuff like Trussardi Jeans.

I can't find the similarities. Trussardi's great though. Can't identify with 88's rose smelling like rose water.

I did a side to side comparison yesterday night at home and didn't find any evident similarity other than both being great scents.

Ok maybe it's in my head or I was wearing the same shirt from the day before and it still had some 88 on it.

Yes, you're right. Even after the shirts have been laundered, when you iron them (in case you do it yourself ) you can still get a sudden steam arising to your nose and whiff this wonderful scent...
