Another question I have related (mainly) to Creed.
They use the word "millesime" a lot in their fragrance names. ie, Millesime Imperiale.
What does this word mean?
Somewhat to my surprise, I have been unable to find a meaning for the word in any dictionary, online or otherwise. Can anyone help this confused person?
(PS: while we're on the subject, Creed's BDP is THE KING, BABY!)

This page from the Creed website explains the term Millesime:

Actually I was just wondering that myself. Thanks for the link Rockford.

You should compare this to the strength of an Eau de Parfum (as opposed to an Eau de Toilette) although some of Creed's Millésimes can hardly be considered EDP.

Thanks guys. Informative and helpful as always...

Even though I posted this link from the Creed website explaining the term Millesime, I would like to add that I don't really believe Creed's public relations / advertising nonsense about their Millesime fragrances having the "highest percentage of natural essences to be found in the French perfume industry". This is just advertising blather.

creed products arent just for the rich and mature noses are they? i see some that are labeled as fresh but that's only relative i guess. MI erolfa and GIT sound groovy. i guess its unlikely they'd do samples haha

I've received true samples (each with its own large Creed card) of many ofthem. The glass sample vials are imprinted with the Creed label embossed along with the frags name.
