Default Fragrance Recovery Project: Pierre Cardin Centaure Series, Part 2

    ***
The Centaure fragrance line by Pierre Cardin contains five fragrances based on sensual leather notes from the lightest to the most intense. Part 1 deals with the first two in the series. This post deals with the remaining three of the series.

    Cuir Fougère (1996)

Packaging Description: green horse’s head on grey box
Bottle description: green bottle, silver band, green horse’s head top

    Cuir Ambre (1996)
Packaging Description: orange horse’s head on grey box
Bottle description: orange bottle, silver neck band, orange horse’s head top
I have no image at the moment, but clearly it's the second bottle from the left in the first image above.

    Cuir Étalon (1996)

Packaging Description: red horse’s head on grey box
Bottle Description: red bottle, silver neck band, red horse’s head top

In 1998, two years after the release of the original Centaure Series, two more fragrances were added to that series, Diamant Noir and Tête d’Or.
I deal with these fragrances in Part 3.

I'm sorry for resurrecting a very old thread, but I prefer this thread to be developed, especially by scentemental himself. I just got a bottle of Cuir Ambre and it's a nice amber scent. I'd like to hear more about Cuir Fougère and Cuir Étalon.

    Zilang,

a stockist who happens to be a friend of mine has it and offered it to me: how is it like in terms of sillage and longevity? Scentemental says it is the lighter one, how light is it, given my preferences for powerhouses?

Pollux, the longevity of Cuir Ambre is pretty good. Most scents don't last well on me, but one spritz of Cuir Ambre to my wrist can still be detected closely after 7 hours (during which I've washed my wrist thrice). The sillage is also good in the first couple of hours.

Most likely I'll also get the other two, but I'd like to hear more about them.
