VETIVER DES SABLES from Montale!
The root of wild vetiver from the desert combined with notes of mahogany and Indian spices.
This is a beautifully intoxicating fragrance from Montale. Perfect choice for a hot day!
"A great perfume is a work of art, it can lift our days, haunt our nights and create the milestones of our memories. Fragrance is liquid emotion. And that never goes out of fashion. " MICHAEL EDWARDS
Grey Flannel - Geoffrey Beene
Think i'll reach way back in my cabinet today for the long-discontinued Nicole Miller for men.

Trumper's Spanish Leather
Can anyone remember love? It's like trying to summon up the smell of roses in a cellar. You might see a rose, but never the perfume.
Shalimar - Guerlain
Wishlist is pointless.
Boucheron PH EDP, after shave balm, spray deodorant, shower gel.
Kenzo PH. It's hot as hell out there.
Early this morning I put on Silver Mountain Water by Creed. Off into town in a bit, and will wear L'Eau d'Hiver by Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle for something a bit different (as the weather's cooled off today). Possibly the most floral fragrance I've ever smelled; formidable yet hauntingly beautiful.

~ My Wardrobe
Starting out the month with my new-to-me Yatagan . Didn't like it on my hand yesterday but sprayed it on all over today for a 'trial'.
"We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force." Ayn Rand...

Un Jardin Sur Le Nil by Hermes.......Mmmmmmmmmmm.....Gary
As it's supposed to be 95 degrees F outside today (ouch) and I had my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday (double ouch), I had to have something light and to lift my mood.
So, I picked Bvlgari's Eau Parfumee Au The Vert (original). Just right for this hot day.
"It always seems impossible until it's done." -Nelson Mandela
My mission statement: "I am not afraid to keep on living - I am not afraid to walk this world alone."
I think I may go with Jaipur Homme tonight for work...don't know why as it's a scorcher here...but I think it will be nice this evening.
On second thought, I haven't pulled Acier Aluminum out of the shadows for a while...so that's the one.
Got sample of M7 and decided to give it a try.
Honestly? Do not like it, not that it is unpleasant, but nothing special and sweet. Do not understand all these fanfares here on BN about it.
II est de forts parfums pour qui toute matière/Est poreuse. On dirait qu'ils pénètrent le verre.
Bond No.9 - Bleeker Street
A brilliant, cool (72 degrees) day in the Black Hills, after 2 of our last 3 days had been 107 degrees! So, time to whip out New York from Patricia de Nicolai as my SOTD!

Yr good bud,
"Why spend life seeking that which does not satisfy? Why remain a slave, when freedom waits? Let your life shine; illumine the world with your truth!"
