Default Finally tried Fahrenheit and a couple others.

    Fahrenheit.

    Smelled it yesterday... ew.

Tried it on my skin, opens with the wonderful aroma of gasoline.

Fades into a nice industrial lubricant or used motor oil.

Then about 3 hours later... leather. wth?

Now I'm a gearhead, (note my name here haha) But there are a lot cheaper and easier ways for me to smell like oil and gasoline. Big thumbs down from me.

Also tried CK Euphoria Intense. Not bad, I can't really pin point any of the ingredients, but its pleasant, but didn't really WOW me.

Tried Emporio Armani Diamonds. VERY nice frag, I'm a big fan of the Armani frags. I think I like Code better tho.

As a little side note, if anyone has any testers or decants available, the link in my sig is a small bit I'm looking for. Thanks a bunch!

I happened to spritz some Fahrenheit on when I was at the mall today. I think it is pretty damn good, and has held up well all of these years. Still quite unique and different.

There are also more expensive ways. Like Eucris and One of the le Labo scents. (forgot its name)
    How about garage by CDG?

the dry down really isn't all that oil and gasoline like....sort of combines a floral, slightly musky bit of scent in with some gasoline. i don't smell any oil or tar in fahrenheit.

i'm a gearhead as well, which is why Fahrenheit gets 2 thumbs up from me!

you know what you gotta try is.......Santa Maria Novella's Nostalgia. It opens smelling like a 1965 Alpine A110 leaking oil.....but then settles into this beautiful vanilla-leather drydown....very elegant stuff

Fahrenheit is one of the few perfumes that I aways have handy. It is amazing how people has different perceptions of the same fragrance, very educative.
