Notes: Bourbon vetiver, black currant, precious woods, jasmine, sandalwood, musk.
A fascinating fragrance. One of the most diffusive scents I've ever worn. I liked its power, but I used to perceive RdV as smelling like the juice of an alien. It reminded me of an intensely tangy candy I ate when I was a kid. Recently however, it has revealed its more woody characteristics. I am pleased by that. Route du Vetiver should be at least sampled by anyone interested in vetiver fragrances.

Prada for Men. What a mediocre ambery fragrance. No character, no development. The drydown is also horribly synhtetic to my nose. Oh how I envy you guys today; New York, Daim Blond, RdV... *sigh*

Couldn't smell anything yesterday due to a nasty cold, but today, my nose is getting better.
As my sniffer isn't back up to full force yet, I needed something potent, so I could sorta smell it. Angel Men it is..

Guerlain's Vetiver Frozen for me today, and a shot of Miller Harris Feuilles de Tabac on one wrist and a shot of Quorum on the other. September gets here at the end of the week. How I hope weather for leathers and tobaccos comes at the same time.
