Default So what would happen if...

... I put some of my regular parfum into a solid base -- e.g. beeswax and carrier oil, with some extrait instead of essential oils? Will I be totally ruining my fragrance?

My guess is that it would take quite a bit of your parfum to get a pronounced fragrance. Even parfum extrait is still diluted with alcohol and solvent mediums, which also might cause a problem with separation from the wax/oils, depending upon whether or not the solvent used to keep the essences mixed with the alcohol will also act as an emulsifier in the waxes, which it might.

I'd try it with a tiny, tiny sample if at all possible, so that you're not using up too much of your perfume to find out what the results will be.
