You know, I've always wondered what "TGIF!" stands for?

Great minds think alike, Shifts!!
Guess what I picked this morning too?
Feminite du Bois.
Scarlett - Keiko Mecheri
Wishlist is pointless.
Maître Parfumeur et Gantier Ambre Précieux
Notes: amber, lavender, vanilla, nutmeg
"I felt something so intense, I could only express it in a perfume." - Jacques Guerlain
I'm wearing Trouble this morning.
I've trademarked the color bleu
Rochas Absolu here. Will have a long day at work.
This morning Patricia de Nicolai's Number One is lingering on my wrists from last night, and Miss Balmain is lingering on the cuffs of my shirt, but once my DH stops lingering hereabouts, I'm putting on the fragrance he abhors: Carthusia Io.
Monarch butterflies require milkweed to prevent extinction
Feminite du Bois for me, too!
Ligea la Sirena and then later Vanilla, Bourbon and Mandarin.
I love the mandarin note in both of these.
Antidote by Viktor & Rolf
I too reached out for Bvlgari Omnia this morning but changed my mind and went with Datura Noir instead...
Notes: myrrh, bitter almond, tonka bean and musk, chinese osmanthus, heliotrope, mandarin, lemon flower and tuberose, vanilla, coconut oil and apricot
I got to pick my DH's fragrances of the day so I chose Dior Homme for him
Top note: Sage, Lavender, Bergamot
Middle note: Iris Concrete, Cocoa, Amber
Base note: Haitian Vetiver, Indonesian Patchouli, Leather
Sidenote: I received a feedback from DH that I did great with my choice of his SOTD - he kept sniffing his wrists all the way to work

"Of the five senses, the sense of smell is incontestably the one that best conveys a sense of immortality."
Grey, rainy morning, I was in the mood for something different, so sampled four and chose...
Flora Bella di LaLique!
Notes: mandarin, bergamont, baie rose, violet leaf, daphne flowers, sunny flowers, frangipani blossoms, blue freesia, cassis, tuberose, vanilla and sweet almond.
This is nice, could be worth a full bottle for me. I'll live in it for a while.
Edit: I would like to try more orange scents, thanks for the ideas!!

Victoria's Secret Basic Instinct. It's growing on me, similar to Angel but leaning more towards the bombshell blossoms than the sundae toppings.

where do you get that? sounds delicious, wonder what blue freesia and sunny flowers smell like? or baie roses for that matter. very poetic thoughOriginally Posted by beachroses
Faves right now: Chanel No 19, Stella Rose Absolute, L´Heure Bleu, Elixir de Merveilles, Samsara.
Loukoumi, I got this sample of Flora Bella di LaLique from scentedmonkey. It was omitted from their sample list, but I called and they said to order the sample of LaLique and then write that I want to substitute Flora Bella in the comments box and I got it with no problems for $3. I was ordering other samples, but I made that one a separate purchase, just so things wouldn't get mixed up. They don't charge shipping on samples, if you check to ship USPS.
I have obviously been in the public service for WAY TO LONG.Originally Posted by shifts
