Another month has come to an end, Pink Sugar for me. Have a wonderful weekend!
"Wovon man nicht lesen kann, darüber muss man schreiben."

Outdoors is warm like summer - an odd september this year. The scent is quite light today for me, with some orental notes...
Have a nice weekend, all!

"I felt something so intense, I could only express it in a perfume." - Jacques Guerlain
Angelique Encense (Creed) for me today.
Enjoy your day! :bounce:
Just got a whole bunch of samples and it's uncharacteristically chilly here at the beach and I'm feeling adventurous and I'm gonna give Lutens' Gris Clair EDP a shot.:bounce:
Tigrushka - what does your quote mean in English? (Prolly everbody else knows but I'm new here. Lived in Scandinavia for a while but not long enough to understand this!)

Diorissimo for me!
It's German and translates "Whereof one cannot read, thereof one must write." (It's a Wittgenstein spoof, the original goes "Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must be silent.")Originally Posted by Taolady

Doing a sandalwood comparison today: Etro, Lorenzo Villoresi, Diptique, Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier.
I'm wearing L'Air du Desert Marocain today.
I've trademarked the color bleu
Thank you for bringing this to my scatter-brained attention. I stuck the phrase in the computer translator, and it came forth:Originally Posted by Taolady

Fantastic! What hasn't been explained by someone else, we must explain ourselves. How appropriate for this site.
I'm sampling Ayala Moriel's Guilt this morning:Of all the lovely AM scents I've tested recently, this is the one that left the least impression. I look forward to going back to Espionage and Cabaret for the sake of exploring notes outside my normal comfort zone. I look forward to returning to Zohar or Palas Atena for their pretty florals. But Guilt, well, it just smelled nice as I brought my coffee mug-clutching hand up to my face.
Top Notes: Mimosa, Frangipani, Blood Orange
Middle Notes: Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Rose
Base Notes: Chocolate, Leather, Cepes
I have a vision (or what do you call a smell vision?) of what I'd like to see accomplished with a dirty cocoa note, and it involves a brooding richness accompanied by an ambered rose (as in Stella Rose Absolute). Most chocolate-laced scents try to balance the darkness and light, but I'm ready to step into a black garden where cocoa hull mulch is coated by fallen red petals.

Today it´s been Kenzo - Flower le parfum
I'm comparing Bulgari Black with Bulgari Omnia... I went to Manhattan's fragrance district today, and tried both. I went back and forth as to which one I preferred, so I took both of them home.
I switched to Sublime parfum. It got cloudy and cooler and I needed something heavier.
Etro Etra.
Have a great Saturday!

Meanwhile Quarry's decription of Guilt has made me so thirsting/hungry I'm running right to my wish list.
Rock on!

Salvador Dali
I got my bottle (can) of CSP's Bois De Filao and am wearing it today. For being a wood fragrance, it is very soft, powdered and comfy on my skin.
Changed into Molinard Habanita after the dinner. So tired, can't wait to go on vacation!
Romance Silver and a compliment......Gary
