Fumerie Turque - Serge Lutens
Thread: SotD Sunday 15 October
Mona di Orio Carnation (sample)
Have a superb Sunday, everyone!
"Wovon man nicht lesen kann, darüber muss man schreiben."
Fumerie Turque - Serge Lutens
Wishlist is pointless.
Feeling very patriotic after seeing our PM defending the continuation of a television program because it was watched by "a lot of older people" (definition of 'older people' please). He looks like Harry Potter, he acted like Harry Potter....do you think....? No, I'm sure he has no idea how to play Quidditch. Sigh.
So, in honour of him I am wearing the only Dutch cult scent in history: Luctor et Emergo by POTL (parfum, not the eau de parfum)
According to Luciouscargo: "an enviable almagam of fresh grasses, white flowers, incenses, vanilla, almond and cherry".
It is delicious and a 'must try' for Rahat Loukoum addicts and everyone who loves heliotrope scents.
Enjoy your Sunday!
PRADA Tendre (sample)
The secound time I try it - and I like it better this time.
Faves right now: Chanel No 19, Stella Rose Absolute, L´Heure Bleu, Elixir de Merveilles, Samsara.
Norma Kamali Beach. Heading into winter, am trying to decide if I want to purchase this. It is a beach scent without the dreaded plastic coconut. Kind of small on the skin.
Miracle Pour Homme. Even though I'm not un homme. I love the coffee notes in the middle. Mmmmmm.
Finally getting to try Bois des Iles, thanks to a kind basenoter!
Most of the classic Chanels I respect but can´t really get myself to like. This one though, started smooth-talking me at once. It is so soft, and definitely speaks more of nature than of sucessful career and city glamour (and not only by the name).

L'Artisan - L'Eau de L'Artisan
I still haven't given up hope on my green ones, even though the weather gets colder every day now.

middle notes: violet, magnolia, jasmine, rose
base notes: orris, heliotrope, tolu, vanilla

"The world is ruled by letting things take their course. It cannot be ruled by interfering." Lao Tze
The daughter wants me to accompany her to the outlet stores today, so I'm traveling sans frag in case there's something to sample. I'm in the mood to try something "big" scent-wise.
In a world where 6 million people are added each month, every landscape matters.
I'm wearing Opium today.
I've trademarked the color bleu
Serge Lutens Arabie. I know this scent is dissed by many and even gets high ratings in "the worst you sniffed" threads, but it smells oh so good on me....
I'll stop wearing black when they make something darker
I'm wearing Serge Lutens Datura Noir today... I've been craving it for a week and now that sun is finally out so is my Datura Noir
DH is wearing Gaultier²
For bed I wore a little bit of Chopard's Wish on the inside of each arm
