    Default Winter Colognes in Summer?

    Hey guys, my girlfriend really doesn't like any summery frag out there. After trying out a heap of them in the last couple days, the only ones she likes are Chrome which I already have and Issey which she doesn't want me to get because it's too popular.

    She loooooves (and so do I) sweet orientals such as Rochas Man, Le Male, Touch, Vera Wang etc.

    So what would be a good frag to purchase for this coming Australian summer?

    Also, is there a similiar frag to the female Gucci edt? I love it, but Gucci PH not so much.

    Arpege Pour Homme comes to mind, as does Halston Catalyst. (It's an all year favorite with me.)

    Latrelle: "What?"
    Peggy: "Brother Boy has tried to kill himself. He jumped out of his bedroom window."
    Latrelle: "Isn't he only on the second floor?"
    Peggy: "Yes, but he hit his head on a lawn gnome."

    It's hard to wear something like that in the summer without it getting cloying or up in your nose. I started a thread a while back to see who does it and there might be suggestions there.

    I think you might want to stick to the lighter orientals.

    Bvlgari Black would be a good choice.
    Black Code would be another.
    John Varvatos, maybe...

    I wore Dali Laguna in summer at really high temperatures and it never turned cloying. What's more, I definitaly felt some very special drydown at times like that.

    Since A*Men is so important to me, I wear it even in the summer and it actually works alright. MR on the other hand is REALLY dangerous stuff.

    While not an oriental per se, I think Havana (which many consider a cold weather fragrance) is excellent in the summer.

    Geir, Brit, and LV Musk are other sweet scents that I believe can be worn year round.

    what about the summer version of a winter frag? the ones of Very Irrésistible for men, A*men, Jaïpur or Le Mâle are pretty good;
