Default Orange & Chocolate..is this possible?

    Gentlemen,

I'm looking for a fragrance with orange and chocolate notes in an edp strength. Rich, thoughtful, and warm. Something to wrap oneself in as winter approaches. (I'm getting ready to stack 2 cords of wood as I write this.)

Recently I thought Armani classic might have fit the bill but its longevity wasn't quite up to snuff though I did like its spicy notes.

Any suggestions will be welcome as I don't have any citrus scents in my wardrobe and need to fill this niche.

    Best wishes!

The notes of chocolate can be subtle or non-existant. What I'm really after is a cross between Armani classic/Vera Wang and a bit of Hanae Mori.

Sorry to throw a cog in the wheel!

L'Anarchiste, while not exactly right, immediately comes to mind...

Hanae Mori H.M. edp. Chocolate and edp, but I don't know about the oranges part. I think there's a touch of neroli, or at least that's what I think it is, that brightens the top.

Given the edp strength caveat, I think this is your closest option.

The first thing i thought of (even though there is no chocolate in it) is Cuir Venenum by Parfumerie Generale.

Have you smelled Elixir des Merveilles, Hermès? It might fit the description....

Fendi's Theorema smells like a Terry's Chocolate Orange to me. It's marketed as a ladies fragrance, but a man could get away with wearing it.

Not sure it exists in EdP strength, but Guerlain l'Instant pour Homme.

Fleur de Chocolat. Perfect match. It smells chocolate and oranges.

Just rub chocolate and oranges on yourself before you go out!

    Found a sample here.

This one has mandarin and cocoa in it but it's new to me.

What about CSP's Amour de Cacao? It's chocolate and bitter orange. Absolutely delicious!

I just finished a bar up today, and coincidentally I thought that chocolate and orange would make a great scent. I came home, and found this thread. What a coincidence!

I love this combo and I couldn't find it, so I ordered the EOs of cocoa, bitter orange and a few other goodies, and made my own concoction I call Sevilla con Chocolate. It makes a good solid perfume and it's so YUMMY! So you could go that route.

Never heard of Fleur de Chocolat, although it sounds intriguing.

I'm not a huge fan of gourmand fragrances, so perhaps I'm not the best one to ask. Still, here goes: try layering the loved/hated A*men with the equally loved/hated L'Anarchiste.

(Barring that, rub yourself all over with Terry's chocolate orange candy. If nothing else, you could have a lot of fun trying this approach.)

Peggy: "Yes, but he hit his head on a lawn gnome."

or if you want a chocolate & orange scent which is spicier and less gourmand, try Bulgari Omnia.

These seem to be very high end recommendations, on the lower end Versace Blue Jeans might be worth a try.

fleur de chocolate is citrus/chocolate but not really orange. also it goes on beautifully but the dry down is so so in my opionion, at best. sorry opinion, I only have one contact lens in right now

cdg spicy cocoa is more orange than chocolate. really expensive though, but on ebay I got a bottle for half price...

It does - the 'Extreme' version.

    My first thought was A*men...
