    Question Searching for this scent...

I am looking for a lighter scent, something that goes like this.

I am sitting on the beach , it is mid September, the sky is blue and there is a bit of a chill to the air. I can smell the salt of the ocean and feel a bit of spray against my cheek. In my lap is a bouquet of roses, mixed with Lily of the Valley, and their gentle fragrance wafts upwards , mixing with the ocean spray. My lover approaches, leaning over, he kisses my neck, and murmurs to me, I smell the musky, delicious scent of his skin.

Is there a perfume that would capture these elements?
"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations." Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins p. 189

What I am loving right now: Shalimar vintage extrait, Chanel Bois des Iles, Chanel no. 22, Le Labo Iris 39, Guerlain Iris Ganache

I looked up rose, lily and musk in the basenotes directory and 44 scents were listed as containing all three notes. The only one I am familiar with is Just Cavalli Pink by Roberto Cavalli. Notes are listed on Basenotes as: peach peel, hibiscus, white lily, tiare flower, Bulgarian rose, peony, rosewood, musk and grey amber. Has a beach quality I think but your vision is so personal only you will know if it completes the picture! Hope this is of some use.

I came really close to buying a bottle of this scent, kept going back to it to try because I did like it but just couldn't commit! I would describe it as a light, creamy white floral but I am not as experienced as others when it comes to pinpointing fragrance families. I remember it smelling like a blend of white flowers: the lilies and peonies mainly. A soft, very clean scent which was better than the flashy Cavalli association would imply. Peach peel is listed as a note but it did not smell at all fruity!

I think you might have described Escada's Escada (2005).

I really like this one BTW.

Here are the notes if you want to know (Official):

Your description immediatly brought to mind Chtistian Dior Dune. Have you sampled it? Here are the notes:

Top notes: Bergamot, Mandarin, Rosewood, Aldehydes
Middle notes: Jasmine, Broom, Rose, Ylang-Ylang
Base notes: Vanilla, Patchouli, Benzoin, Sandal

...that salty ocean breeze feeling is most certainly there and so are the most beautiful floral notes that mingle genly with the salty sea-breeze accord...

    wow, my cup runneth over!

(not to be snobby, but I don't know if I can bring myself to overcome my distaste of Paris Hilton the persona to even touch a bottle of perfume that has her name on it...is that snobbby?)

I don't want to be rude, but have you tried any other fragrances? I see you posting the exakt same words over and over again about the same fragrance.
