the concept is funny, and i really like the smell! they certainly did better than Clinique's Happy, which makes me think of baby vomit

    Sir,
as the father of a happily and constantly vomiting 2.5 month old baby AND great friend of Clinique Happy I must refute your proposition, though
I will concede that there are many perfumes discretion does not permit me to explicitly name which smell a good deal worse than my baby's vomit.

Yeah, I remember trying this one in September, while in Paris. The opening notes were slightly sharp but pleasant. As for the drydown, I really can't remember now, to be honest. However, it did leave a respectable impression on me. Is it bottle worthy? The jury's still out, I'm afraid.

Also, I wasn't too fond of the packaging - looked like a pharmaceutical product (with bright yellow trimmings) and a smiley slapped on. There's also a body care range available.

Yes, this one is sold over here at Skins Cosmetics in Amsterdam. Very exclusive shop. I must confess I never tried it because of the name (but...what's in a name......). What are you wearing? Ehhh, Smiley So absolutely NOT cool. Right, I will ask for a sample. You made me curious enough to give it a try.

Translation from the Dutch site of Skins Cosmetics:
Top notes: Bergamot, Orange and Piment berries
    Heart notes: Coconut and Praline
Base notes: Patchouli, Myrrh and Musk

You mean with the thread? I noticed a post similar to this one today, so I informed the poster to look also at this thread.
Maybe a moderator took over? Am as baffled as you.

Update: found the other thread as well: http://community.basenotes.net/showthread.php?t=191118

Oh well, since the thread is open again, I can as well share my experiences. That packaging : did me think of the cleaning stuff I had to spray on my jaw after a dental implant. Traumatic experience!! Definitevely not !!

Scent: I suppose I am too happy to feel the benefits of this scent. It is nice, but not more than that. I strongly recommend a 'holiday-depressed' guinea pig to try this out.
Think we have a hyped scent here. But hey, who am I? Happy and smiling surrounded by my beautiful bottles

I was asking about you sampling the new frag, not about the thread.

Seems I misunderstood you completely! Deepest apologies for causing embarrassment and confusion. Will spend next New Year's Eve with more sleep and less fun. Promised!!
