Voleur de Roses for me today.
This is going to be a wonderful day
DH wants a new car and my opinion is asked. So, first step: high heels and red lipstick to intimidate the salesperson. Step two: an appropriate scent. Oh this will be the best day ever for Cuir Mauresque! I will smell better than any car with leather seats. Step three: ooze confidence and never again ask if the rabbitcage will fit in that small boot
I hope everybody has recovered from all those Thanksgiving festivities? Yes? Then, enjoy your Friday!

Voleur de Roses for me today.

Dior Addict, from a bottle I purchased in June 2004 and am now running out of. I haven't worn this in a year, and it's absolutely delightful. It has always had quite a bit of orange blossom and sandalwood on me, but the leaf note obfuscates this initially.
TGIF, Kenzo Parfum D'ete for today.
I had a huge dinner and I ended up using Fumerie Turque (a tester) as my dinner scent. It is too smokey for my liking and I believe it is more suitable for guys. I had too much wine and shots and suffering a massive hangover.
Now, I need to crawl back to work...
Goodmorning! I'm wearing Jicky today.
today is a wonderful day for vetiver extraordinaire
I'm wearing Nu edp today Instant boost of leather and pepper to begin with, but settles down to more vanilla and Bergamot.
La Perla La Perla today. Congratulations to Shadeofbleu on making her dreams reality (Fumerie Turque).
Decided to Play the Lion - expecting to roar forth into Black Friday crowds (despite reactions recorded here on BN).
First quick sniff was nail polish (a more educated nose calls this "pimente"), then a hint of hunny, now - after an hour - warm cedar-y incense. Good for settling down in front of a roaring fire sprinkled with frankincense and myrrh and snuggling with another hunny. Can't smell this from a distance of more than a foot. It's subtle and complex and if I were rich and famous I would consider investing the three hundred some odd clams it costs.
Courage - Mes braves! The weekend is in sight! (And for Riannon - drive carefully and not over the body of that poor bedazzled salesperson!)
P.S. (12 hours later.) This frag really came to life about five hours into the wearing. Bloomed into sort of hesitant sillage and an almost floral, powdery deep warmth. OH....if only I were a rock star...or at least had a rock star's bank account.....(sigh).
