Default "Tiki" scents without coconut, or not much coconut?

What are some scents that remind you of Tiki, Tiki islands, Tiki bars or drinks or whatever? BUT, without coconut, or at least not much coconut.

Marc Jacobs for Men ... check out the reviews in the directory. I'm not a fan of coconut but other basenoters will be able to give you their impressions and first hand experiences with this fragrance.

Oops ... just saw re-read and saw you don't want a lot of coconut. Maybe some of the Comptoire Sud Pacifique scents would fit the bill better for you.

Beauty is an ecstasy; it is as simple as hunger.
There is really nothing to be said about it.
It is like the perfume of a rose: you can smell it and that is all.

Okay, Marc Jacobs for Men, Comptoire Sud Pacifique, Idole by Lubin, and Aramis Bermuda Tonic. Great suggestions! Keep 'em coming!

How about the tropical suntan lotion note in Laguna?

I also get a "tropical" feel with Tommy Hilfiger Freedom.

I have no idea what 'Tiki' is, but Armani Code is nice and fruity with coconut in the mix!

Of the CSP I would recommend Aqua Motu and L'Eau de Gouverneur in particular.

OP Juice and Ananas Fizz (L'Artisan). Both contain pineapple notes.

Any decent Bay Rum would do it!

if it's the suntan/beach warmth thing you're going for, there's CB I Hate Perfume's 1966 At the Beach. It's said to smell like old-school Coppertone after being out at the beach all day long.

In the similar vein to At the Beach, there's Dior's Sweet Sun "treatment fragrance," apparently launched in response to the demand for a fragrance that matched their tanning products - it's a fizzy creamy ginger ice cream kind of scent.

Nemo by Cacharel -- that fruit note, especially.

Peggy: "Right now, we have to get to the mental institution. Something terrible has happened."
    Latrelle: "What?"
Peggy: "Brother Boy has tried to kill himself. He jumped out of his bedroom window."
Latrelle: "Isn't he only on the second floor?"
Peggy: "Yes, but he hit his head on a lawn gnome."
